Lhasa To Kathmandu Overland Tour -11 days
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel
Adventure 14 Peaks representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and takes you to hotel and assists you with the check- in formalities. Free time to explore Thamel, a popular tourists hub on your own or rest in hotel
Day 02: Chinese visa processing , guided tour of Kathmandu.
While we collect your passport and apply for Chinese visa at the Chinese embassy in Kathmandu, you will go for sightseeing tour. The tour covers the Kathmandu Durbar square, Swoyambhunath stupa and Bouddhanath stupa. Evening briefing about your Tibet tour in hotel
Day 03: Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa (3650m)
Today you will enjoy the fantastic trans Himalayas flight that flies over Mount Everest to Lhasa.
Our Tibetan guide receives you at Lhasa’s Gongkar airport and takes you to Lhasa city through 1.5 hr scenic drive. Explore the nearby streets on your own or rest and acclimatize.
Day 04: Sightseeing tour of Potala palace, Jokhang temple and Bharkhor street .
After breakfast in hotel your sightseeing tour begins with the Potala palace of the Dalai Lamas, the holiest of the Tibetan temple- Jokhang and visit to the traditional Bharkhor street .
Day 05: Sightseeing tour of of Drepung and Sera monastery
Today you will visit the two biggest Gelugpa monasteries of Tibet where there used to be up to 10,000 monks living in the bygone days . These monasteries also serve as University to learn Buddhism for the monks and the spiritual debate among monks is the main sight not to miss here.
Day 06: Drive Lhasa to Gyantse (3950m) – 261 km
We drive you on a 4WD jeep through scenic terrain past Khamba La Pass , at 4794 meter, with a brief stop to enjoy mesmering views of Yamdrok-tso Lake and Nazin Kang Sa, towering at 7252 m. Further westwards, we come across another pass, Karo La Pass at 5045m where you can see huge glaciers tumbling down. After driving 261 km, beautiful landscapes dotted with Tibetan villages get visible as you enter the town of Gyantse.
Day 07: Gyantse sightseeing & drive to Shigatse (3900m) – 90 km
Sightseeing tour of Kumbum stupa and Pelkhor temple in Gyantse then drive to Shigatse . In Shigatse we will visit the famous Tashilhunpo monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lama
Day 08: Shigatse sightseeing & drive to Shegar (4050m) – 244 km
It is yet another scenic day driving past small town of Lhatse and cross Gyamtso La pass at 5220m. As the route opens into plains, many monasteries and camps of nomadic herders become visible en route to Shegar.
Day 09: Shegar to Zhangmu (2300m)
You will drive past Tingri crossing Lalung La pass at 5124m and Shug La pass at 5200m. You will see breathtaking close view of mt Everest from Tingri. Along the highway , spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks of Shishapangma, Cho Oyu, Menlungtse and Gauri Shankar.
Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu (1400m) -123 km
Drive to the boarder, complete the immigration formalities. Lleave your vehicle form Lhasa at the boarder and say good bye to your Tibetan guide . Other guide from Kathmandu will receive you at the boarder, helps you get Nepal visa ( if you do not have one ) . Drive along a superbly scenic highway to Kathmandu. O/n in hotel in Kathmandu

Our guide will come to pick you up in the hotel and drive you to rafting starting point.( 3 hrs)

Day 01: In the morning you are picked up at your hotel in Kathmandu and driven to Nagarkot. Upon arrival you are met and checked in resort. Excursion around the village. Dinner and overnight in Nagarkot

Day 02: Pokhara Sightseeing
Early morning drive to Saranagkot to see sunrise along with the view of Mt. Fishtail & Annapurna Himalaya. Back to hotel and have breakfast. Day 03: Pokhara to Kathmandu

Day 01: Kathmandu to Chitwan
In the morning you are picked up at your hotel in Kathmandu and driven to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival you are met and transferred to your lodge located at Saura . This afternoon enjoy game viewing on elephant back.
Day 02: Chitwan jungle activities
